I pronounce Dozier the French way [do-zE-"A].  There aren't many people in France left with this surname.  The following are likely derivatives of Dozier: d'Hozier, d'Osier, Dausier/Dauzier, Häusier, D'Hosier, L'Hosier, Losier, Dossier, and Däusie, and was told that it means maker of tapestries (according to the myriad French people I've met).
