logo of bobby dozier contains an image of a baseball homeplate, the initials b and d and a starThis is the "official" site of Bobby Dozier aka Robert Doziér, an Amerasian who hails from Tulsa, Oklahoma (aka the Oil Capital of the World).  Actually Dozier does not contain the accent mark (excusez moi les Français!) but it is used in order to assist native speakers of English who routinely massacre French surnames - LOL!   Yes, I pronounce it the French way [dou ze A].  There aren't many people in France left with this surname.  It is sometimes spelled d'Hozier and was told that it means maker of tapestries (according to the many French people I've met). The Dozier clan likely came to the U.S. from the Bordeaux region of France, although some records have shown that this "tribe" originated in Bavaria a looooooong time ago.  Our familial roots hail, stateside, from Louisiana, thus, we're Cajun.Dozier, Bobby Dozier, Robert Dozier, Bob Dozier, Dozier.org, Dauzier, d'Osier, d'Hozier, d'Hozier, Dausier
foto of Bobby Dozier going deep, i.e. hitting a homerun at Tokyo's Gaien-Jingu Park The theme of this site revolves around my favorite sport: baseball.  Since MLB took away my former team, the Montreal Expos, I'm now cheering on the Texas Rangers!  I actually started following them the 2004 season and like a lot of their players. Since my old team, the Expos moved to DC, I have to say au revoir, but do wish the Nationals luck, even though I find the team nickname a bit dumb.  Baseball's my favorite participation sport, having played from the age of 8 to the present day, which means I've played this game for well over 30 years, whew!  For me nothing beats watching college (American) football for sheer entertainment; mount up, time to get nasty and rope 'em C-boys.Dozier, Bobby Dozier, Robert Dozier, Bob Dozier, Dozier.org, Dauzier, d'Osier, d'Hozier, d'Hozier, Dausier, bd's homeplate, bobby dozier's homeplate
I am a resident of Okieville again.  The arrow thing above signifies the migration of my mom to America and then myself to Japan, to come full circle so to speak, and the plan to land in Hawai'i one of these days, that's always been a dream of mine after visiting in the 80s.Dozier, Robert Dozier, Bobby Dozier, Bob Dozier, Ichie Yamamoto, Paul J. I have quite a few fotos on here, especially of Japan (and have a lot I still haven't yet uploaded) but will in due course, and provide more historical data about my multiethnic, bicultural family, so that it can exist as a resource for future generations, making it easier for my children (if I ever get there - Lord have mercy!), their children, my nephews Drew (Blondie) Alexander and William (Blue Eyes) Cameron, their children, their children's children, and so forth.Dozier, Robert M. I feel blessed to have had two people, William David Dozier (R.I.P.) and Ichie Yamamoto guide me from childhood to becoming a responsible adult.  They weren't perfect parents, there's no such thing, but they did the best they could and worked hard so that my older brother Paul and I could have a better life, we both graduated with bachelors, and more opportunities than they experienced.  That's the "job" that comes with parenting; loving and taking care of the one(s) we bring into this world, but alas one many people not only avoid but fail at miserably.  Animals are often better caretakers of their young...but to Mom and Dad, thanks, I love you!Dozier, Robert M. One of my favorite verses, something to think about: Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13).  How often do we ever see this sort of selflessness in thought &/or in deed in today's world?Bobby Dozier, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tokyo, Japan photos, bd's homeplate, PhilAm LLC, Hapa, Turley Jets, Okayama, Hapa Club, Burnt Toast Club, Amerasian, Cajun, Huguenot"
